Camp Deerpark says it has provided a safe and fun learning environment for children with proper supervision for over 50 years. Its mission is providing a place of rest, learning, and spiritual growth for children, church groups, and families. The camp is licensed by the NYS health department and accountable to the NYC Mennonite Churches. It is a ministry of the New York City Mennonite Churches and an outreach of 18 New York City Mennonite Churches.

The page says Camp Deerpark affirms the 1995 Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective as a statement of faith, but visitors and groups using the facilities are not required to affirm it.
