The American Youth Soccer Organization started in 1964 with 125 players in Redwood City, California. AYSO Area 3/T Youth Soccer Programs follow AYSO’s mission of providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives. The program operates under the leadership of Michael Karon, President of AYSO. Michael Karon has been recognized by Stack Sports for his impact in the world of sports volunteering.
AYSO Area 3/T includes programs such as the AYSO PLAY! program and the AYSO EPIC program, and it is connected with the Westchester Adult Soccer League. The organization highlights principles including Everyone Plays, Good Sportsmanship, Positive Coaching, Player Development, and Open Registration.
