The program also offers arts and crafts, painting, drawing, jewelry design, collage creation, tie-dye, Color War, paint splatters, water balloons, egg toss, relay races, treasure hunts, cardboard ship-building, pirate costume crafting, storytelling around a “campfire,” DIY game booths, ring toss, balloon darts, face painting, and a camper-led carnival showcase.

• Ages: 4–14 years old

Camp owner Helen Hoffmann leads the program, and all lifeguards are trained and certified directly by her as an official Instructor for the American Red Cross. Our Kids Day Camp serves families across Sullivan County, Monticello, Liberty, Ellenville, and the Catskills region. The camp states that it believes in sparking imagination and keeping things fresh, so no two days feel the same. The program notes that many counselors started as campers, moved up through a Leader in Training (LIT) program, and now work at the camp as adults, and that there is a second generation of campers whose parents grew up at the camp. Every staff member completes a Mandatory Intensive Orientation that focuses on child development, team building, and safety protocols. Campers are separated into three age-specific divisions, and there is a no screens policy for the Senior & Teen Division that focuses on a phones-free experience. The camp notes that Tot Town is an active, outdoor experience rather than indoor daycare, and Tot Town campers must be fully potty-trained. New families are invited to join for a tour before summer begins.
