About the provider
East Coast Panthers was established in 2011. Its leadership team includes Chris DiCintio as President & Founder, Larry Rheingold as Vice President and Head Of AAU, Lou DeMello as Director of Leagues, and John Cavaliere as Head Basketball Trainer. The program says its mission is to inspire and empower young athletes through basketball, and it notes fundraising events that raise money for athlete scholarships and for underprivileged kids.
Camps are designed for boys and girls grades 3-8 on the camps page, and grades 3-9 is also stated on the program page. The organization emphasizes fundamentals, discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, and chemistry.
What families say
“Joining the East Coast Panthers has been an incredible experience for our son. The coaches are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely care about each player’s development. We’ve seen tremendous growth in his skills and confidence on and off the court.” — John Decker, Geneseo College
“The East Coast Panthers program has exceeded our expectations. Our daughter loves the supportive environment and the professional coaching. We appreciate the focus on character building as much as basketball skills. It’s been a fantastic journey for her and our family.” — Mike Demello, Concordia College
