About
Prehistoric Adventures Summer Camp at Brightside Academy features themed activities such as Dinosaur Discovery, Fossil Explorations, Prehistoric Art & Creativity, Science & Earth Exploration, and Outdoor Exploration & Play. Children take part in interactive stories, games, hands-on sensory play, cave painting, dinosaur crafts, nature walks, exploration games, field trips, and in-house adventures. The camp also includes participation in the Science in the Summer program.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Schedule: June 15–August 21, 2026, with weekly Academy Hours from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm
• Price: Summer Camp Registration Fee is $75 per child (ELRC covers the cost for subsidy-eligible families). Summer Camp Activity Fee is $40 for the first enrolled child and $20 for each additional child from the same household. Summer camp Weekly Fees are covered by the ELRC for subsidy-eligible families. The Weekly Fee Schedule is available upon request for families who are ineligible for subsidized childcare. The summer camp program fees are due by May 15th 2026, in order to secure registration.
The camp follows a S.T.E.A.M-based approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math), encouraging critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and exploration through prehistoric themes where children learn by asking questions, experimenting, and discovering the world around them. Centers will transform into a world of dinosaurs, fossils, and early discovery, and the program is designed for both preschool and school-age children. Enrollment perks include a complimentary summer camp T-shirt, Summer Camp Swag, daily nutritious meals and snacks, and field trips and/or special guests, with nutritious meals provided for all students. The program collaborates with the Franklin Institute on their Science in the Summer program, and each week includes field trips and in-house adventures that connect to the camp themes.
