Ashland YMCA Youth Programs include a range of options such as Preschool, Y Kids for grades K–5, and a combined Preschool & Y Kids Summer Camp for children age 3 through 5th grade. The program also offers Youth Swim, recreational Gymnastics, Martial Arts, Jr. Cavs Basketball, a 3V3 Basketball League, a Youth Volleyball League, Little Kickers, Outdoor Impact Youth Soccer, 419 Flyers Track and Field, NFL Flag Football, Little Blitz Lacrosse, Ashland Youth Football League, Swim Team, Lifeguarding, Swim Lessons, Tai Chi, Cardio Lifting, Spin with Shelly Briggs, Yoga, Cycling, Pickle Ball, PickleBall in Gym Court 1, and Private Swim Lessons taught on a 1:1 basis.

The YMCA of Ashland, Ohio has been serving the community for more than a century and moved to its current facility in 1956. The organization is led by Executive Director Molly Riley. The YMCA of Ashland, Ohio states that it is committed to saying “YES” to the community and has launched a targeted fundraising campaign to improve soccer and football fields and outdoor spaces so it can provide expanded services and programs, connect neighbors and families, strengthen social bonds, reduce stress, and reach more people in the community. The Myers Field Campaign is led by community volunteers to raise funds from the Y family and the Ashland County community, and field rental to community organizations is planned. YMCA of Ashland, Ohio is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Ashland YMCA Youth Programs will use a new Outdoor Sports Complex opening in Spring 2026 on Myers Field, which includes a revitalized, well-drained and lighted natural turf field that can be used as an NCAA regulation soccer field or as three NFL flag football fields, a quarter-mile walking path, ADA-compliant restrooms, a concession stand, additional parking, four 30-foot tall stadium lighting towers, and a state-of-the-art outdoor sound system. The complex also includes a quarter-mile, eight-foot-wide asphalt walking path around the perimeter of the field with connecting concrete sidewalks, a handicapped-accessible ramp to enter the field from Holbrook Street, new chain link fencing with access gates along the north and west perimeter of the field and adjacent parking area, a Maintenance/Equipment Storage Building with a concession area and ADA-compliant men’s, women’s, and family restrooms, handicapped-accessible and general parking for up to 36 vehicles, and a 24-foot-wide asphalt exit drive around the north side of the YMCA facility. The Outdoor Sports Complex grand opening is scheduled for 5 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026, and there are naming opportunities for various components of the complex, including the Outdoor Sports Complex, walking pathway, concession building, LED scoreboard, outdoor lighting, benches, concession area, and parking lot expansion.
