The Goddard School of Avon offers activities such as an Outdoor Classroom, Space Exploration Room, Rock Wall, and Playground time. Children participate in Handwriting, use Interactive Whiteboards and Computers, and explore Secondary Languages and American Sign Language. The program also includes Yoga & Mindfulness, Dramatic Arts, Music Appreciation, Physical Fitness, Sports & Fitness, Dance, Bird Feeders, and Sprinkler Fun.

It provides programs for infants and toddlers through pre-K, kindergarten and beyond, including an Infant program (6 weeks–12 months), Toddler classroom (12–24 months), Twos classroom (2–3 years), Bridge classroom (2.5–3.5 years), Preschool classroom (3–4 years), and Pre-K classroom (4–5 years). The school lists degreed and tenured teachers and notes low ratios in its classrooms.
Health and safety features at The Goddard School of Avon include Air Filtration Systems, an Air Purifying System, a Disinfectant Sprayer, and EPA-Approved Cleaning Products. Additional safety and security measures include Finger Guards, a Gate Alarm, a Halo Non-Biometric Security Scanner, Outdoor Security Cameras, and Supervised Lobby Entry. The school also offers catering and fresh fruit/veggie snacks.
The leadership team includes Miss Jennifer (Miss Jen), Lead Teacher in the Shining Starfish Pre-K Classroom, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Cleveland State University and has been a member of The Goddard School community since October 2008. The Goddard School of Avon is nationally accredited by Cognia®, holds a National Goddard School Teacher of the Year recognition as of April 2024, is listed with Child Care Aware® from January 2020 to January 2030, and has an Ohio Healthy Kids Certification through the Ohio Healthy Programs designation.
Parent feedback includes comments that children have attended for years and are described as safe, well cared for, and learning all the time.
