The program uses a progressive, learn to swim curriculum that emphasizes proper swimming technique and water safety. Swim lesson programming varies by location, and YMCA pool rules and safety guidelines include swimmer supervision, age and swim test requirements.

• Price: Pricing will be prorated if a holiday or closure affects swim lessons
Certified swimming instructors and lifeguards lead the program, and staff training includes CPR, AED, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration. The program offers award-winning swim lessons. Financial assistance is offered for families thanks to donors, and YMCA members get priority registration a week before non-members.
