About the provider
The program has operated since 2004. It was founded in 2004 by former University of Virginia lacrosse players Steve Anderson and Jay Jalbert. Xcelerate Lacrosse is partnered with Nike Sports Camps and is described as a national leader in high-performance instruction. The mission statement says the camp creates a classic summer camp atmosphere where players can improve their skills, build confidence, and make lifelong memories.
