The department also offers fitness-related options connected to youth programs, including volunteer coaching for youth sports or programs, along with access to fitness classes such as Zumba, Vinyasa Yoga, Body Sculpting, and the Silver Sneakers Classic Class.

• Schedule: Community Center hours are Monday through Friday 6:00am–8:00pm and Saturday 8:00am–5:00pm from January through May, and 8:00am–2:00pm from June through December, with Sunday closed.
• Price: Monthly memberships cost $15 per month for residents and $30 per month for non-residents, and the Silver Sneakers Classic Class costs $3.00 per class for non-Silver Sneakers participants.

The Brook Park Recreation Department lists Chris Wetmore as Director of Recreation; Amanda Morgano and Danny Colonna as Program Coordinators; Joe Krucke as Community Center Supervisor; Gianna DiMassa as Office Specialist/Rentals; and Joan Corrigan as Senior Coordinator. Its mission statement says that all programs and facilities are provided on a non-discriminatory basis for all citizens, regardless of age, race, sex, creed, or disability. The department welcomes volunteers to coach youth in the community and notes that the Recreation Center is described as the community’s most popular gathering place throughout the year. The Outdoor Waterpark invites school camps, day camps, and church groups to reserve a day and time, and it hosts monthly Movie Nights and an annual Dog Swim event called “DOGS GONE WILD” on the final day the pool is open for the summer.
