Beyond Breakthrough Alumni Program

Beyond Breakthrough Alumni Program offers high school and college readiness resources, networking opportunities, and events for Breakthrough Public Schools alumni. The program is part of Beyond Breakthrough, which supports all BPS alumni from the moment 8th grade ends and connects them with a supportive network of partners and innovative programming dedicated to their success. Through the Beyond Breakthrough team and network, alumni receive personalized guidance for high school placement and ongoing support through college, career, and beyond.

• Ages: 14–18 years old

Beyond Breakthrough Alumni Program is connected to Breakthrough Public Schools, a network that serves 3,000 scholars across five K–8 grade schools. Breakthrough Public Schools states that its mission is to provide Cleveland area scholars with an education that empowers them to lead lives full of impact and opportunity. The network is described as one of the top-performing networks of public charter schools in Cleveland, Ohio, and it provides a seamless educational journey from kindergarten through career. Friends of Breakthrough Schools works with community, business, and political leaders to build city-wide support for high-quality public school options for children in Cleveland and to close the gap in public funding needed to provide education to thousands of children each year.
