Noble Learning Center has been providing education services to children since 1978 and began as a parent co-op in the basement of a local church before moving through several sites and settling at its current facility. The program offers full-time, part-time, before and after school, and summer options for children from newborn through age twelve and accepts cash, check, and credit card payments. Noble Learning Center is a Five-Star Step Up to Quality Program and is state certified in Ohio’s Step Up to Quality system, which promotes learning and development for preschool and school age students. The center’s mission focuses on child care services for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and school age children, with an emphasis on the development of the child and viewing the center as the first step on a journey to a life-long love of learning.
The leadership team includes Director LaShona DeVolld and Assistant Director Heidi DeVolld. The staff includes experienced, certified teachers; the Director has a degree in Early Childhood Education and serves on multiple early childhood education boards throughout the county and the state of Ohio, including the current state ECE board, and the Assistant Director holds a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. Noble Learning Center accepts students from multiple surrounding counties and communities, including Noble, Washington, Guernsey, Belmont, Monroe, and Morgan Counties and towns such as Belmont, Bridgeport, Byesville, Cambridge, Senecaville, Woodsfield, Malta, McConnelsville, Stockport, Belle Valley, Caldwell, Dexter City, Beverly, Macksburg, and Marietta. The program also offers part-time and full-time employment positions for teachers.
