ECO Center Day Camp offers an educational outdoor experience that focuses on environmental education and hands-on learning opportunities. Campers take part in outdoor experiences connected to ECO Day Camp and Summer Camp sessions, and the site also hosts Field Trips as part of its programming.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Operates seasonally from April through mid November.
ECO Center Day Camp is part of ECO Center LLC, which also offers Homesteading & Adult Workshop Classes, Educational School Field Trips, and private events such as company picnics, birthday parties, graduation parties, school reunions, and social gatherings. ECO Center opened in 2014 and has focused on providing a safe and educational outdoor experience since that time, with the grounds and barn available for Private Events and Educational School Field Trips since 2015. The mission of ECO Center is to provide safe, fun, outdoor experiences through environmental education and hands-on learning opportunities, with a focus on science, exploration, friendship, family, and a healthy and sustainable relationship with the Earth. Owners Paco and Emily Ollervides lead the program, which also accepts applications year round for volunteers, internships, and ECO Team staff positions, and makes the property available to rent for special events. ECO Center is involved in the community by connecting members of the community, providing a gathering place for celebrations and special events, and educating children outdoors.
