Columbus Gymnastics Academy

Columbus Gymnastics Academy offers Baby Katz for ages 10023 months, Tumble Katz 23 for ages 2 and 3, Tumble Katz 3 for 3-year-olds, and Tumble Katz 46 Beginner and Intermediate for ages 4 to 6. It also offers Mini TNT, NinGym 3, NinGym 4-5, Girls Beginner Gymnastics, Coed Beginner Tumbling, Coed Beginner Trampoline and Tumbling, and 10+ Girls Beginner/Intermediate Gymnastics. The classes include beam, bars, floor, vault, tumbling, trampoline, and double mini trampoline.

• Tumble Katz 4–6 Beginner — 4 to 6-year olds (through Kindergarten) · Held once a week; 40 minutes · Beginner. Adult Participation: No.
• Tumble Katz 4–6 Intermediate — 4 to 6-year olds (through Kindergarten) · Held once a week; 55 minutes · Intermediate (Invitation Only). Adult Participation: No.
• Mini TNT — 4 to 6-year olds (through Kindergarten) · Held once a week; 40 minutes · Beginner. Adult Participation: No.
• NinGym 3 — 3-year olds · Held once a week; 40 minutes · Beginner. Adult Participation: No.
• NinGym 4-5 — 4 and 5-year olds · Held once a week; 40 minutes · Beginner. Adult Participation: No.
• Girls Beginner Gymnastics — 6 to 9 years old · Held once a week; 55 minutes · Focuses on beam, bars, floor, vault.
• Coed Beginner Tumbling — 6 to 9 or 10–17 years old · Held once a week; 55 minutes · Solely focused on tumbling and floor.
• Coed Beginner Trampoline and Tumbling — 6 to 17 years old · Held once a week; 55 minutes · TNT consists of trampoline, double mini trampoline, and tumbling.
• 10+ Girls Beginner/Intermediate Gymnastics — 10 to 17 years old · Held once a week; 55 minutes · Mixed beginner/intermediate. Focuses on beam, bars, floor, vault.

About the provider

Columbus Gymnastics Academy has served Columbus families since 1980. The compulsory director and head coach is Audra Wynkoop, and the optional director and head coach is David Pacheco. The founding head coach was George Gorgoi, and the founding head coaches for the trampoline and tumbling competitive team included Hal.

Competitive Starz has participated in USAG girls gymnastics competitions since 2012. CGA also has a competitive Trampoline and Tumbling team that competes within USTA. Team tryouts are held every year in May. Individual evaluation is also available upon request for current competitive gymnasts.
