About
National Inventors Hall of Fame Education Programs, including Camp Invention, Club Invention and Leaders-in-Training, focus on hands-on fun and creativity with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts. These education programs include a Camp Invention summer program for grades K-6, a Club Invention afterschool program for grades 1-6, a Leaders-in-Training program for grades 7-9, and a Leadership Intern Program for high school and college students. The programs are founded and supported in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and promote innovation for all ages in all communities.

The National Inventors Hall of Fame has been honoring the spirit of innovation and promoting inventors as role models since 1973, impacting more than 4 million children, students, educators and innovators across the nation since it was founded. Its mission is to inspire emerging creators and entrepreneurs through its education programs and to honor the history of innovation through its museum and Hall of Fame Inductees. In partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, it honors the legacies of visionary U.S. patent holders, and over the past year it has partnered with more than 1,400 districts nationwide and in Puerto Rico, along with 2,144 philanthropic partners making STEM education more accessible.
The leadership team for these education programs includes Rachelle Albrechta (Director of Program Development), Jayme Cellitioci (Senior Director of Education), Ashley Giordano (Manager of Program Management), Susie Duchon (Education Specialist), Rachel Lutes (Curriculum Writer), Emily Mitchell (Senior Content Writer), Sara Pompeo (Editor), Maggie Saine (Spanish Services Lead & Education Specialist) and Jennifer Sitton (Director of Science & Product Development). Team members hold a range of credentials, including degrees in art education, gifted education, psychology, biology, creativity and change leadership, history, museum studies, middle childhood education with a focus in mathematics and ELA, advertising, professional and technical writing with journalism, psychology, Spanish, biopsychology, cell and organismal biology, and a doctorate in biology specializing in science education, as well as training as a Creative Education Foundation Ideator, a certified Dream Manager, and a professional certificate in free-choice learning.
