Child Focus Early Learning and Before & After School Programs offers before and after school programs for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. The programs are part of a broader set of early learning services that include Head Start for children from prenatal stages to kindergarten. Services are part of Child Focus, a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) agency that provides a broad range of early learning, mental health, addiction, parenting and employment services.

Child Focus incorporated in 1977 and is led by Founder and CEO Jim Carter. The mission of Child Focus is to join with communities in improving the quality of life for children, families and adults. Today, Child Focus directly serves over 20,000 children, families and adults annually and strengthens the quality of life for 20,000 individuals in central and southern Cincinnati, Ohio. Programs are designed to foster stable family relationships, enhance physical and emotional well-being and establish strong cognitive skills.
The spectrum of services connected to Child Focus includes outpatient individual, family and group therapy, diagnostic testing, psychiatric services, day treatment, prevention, treatment and crisis services, mobile crisis, management of a county-wide 24-hour crisis hotline (513-528-SAVE) and 988, parent enrichment and employment. Child Focus provides services in over 70 schools and preschools, pediatric offices, juvenile courts, jail, Job and Family Services, Developmental Disabilities, other community locations and in hundreds of homes in southern Ohio communities. Child Focus also provides community consultation, programs and trainings, including school violence, child abuse and suicide prevention and trauma-informed care, reaching regional and international markets.
