Youth Services is part of the Greater Columbus Community House core programs, which also include Early Childhood Education, Family Services, Senior Services, and the Mid-Ohio Market. Youth Services at SSCH includes a STEAM After-School Program, a summer STEAM Camp, Achieve More, and The Early Learning Center.
• Schedule: The Mid-Ohio Market @ SSCH offers full shop hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 am–3 pm, on Tuesday from 3 pm–6 pm, and on Thursday from 12 pm–6 pm, with produce-only hours starting one hour later each of those days.
Founded in 1919, Greater Columbus Community House lists Youth Services as one of its core program areas. The organization states that its mission is “Strengthening Families and Empowering Our Community.” The Resilient Housing Initiative (RHI) is also listed as a related effort, focused on preventing homelessness and promoting housing stability for extremely low-income Columbus residents facing homelessness.
