Camp A Cappella focuses on singing and performing in both small and large groups while learning from top professionals in the a cappella world. Campers spend an unforgettable week taking hands-on classes in arranging, beatboxing, and stage performance, and they experience live professional showcases and perform on a professional concert stage. The program also includes arranging and song writing, learning about voice ranges, chord structure, appropriate syllables, texture, text, style, and group formation, as well as rhythm section skills like crafting basic sounds and rhythms, practicing methods to self-improve, understanding the role of the rhythm section, controlling the groove, and growing a repertoire of rhythm section sounds. Campers work on audio recording from conception to final mix, record their own track, and work together in ProTools and Melodyne, and they also focus on solo delivery, song choice and repertoire, ornamentation and riffing, imitation vs. innovation, motivation and other advanced solo techniques, and tips and tricks to improve solos.

The Camp A Cappella leadership team includes owners Brody McDonald and Deke Sharon, Director of Education Matthew Swope, and Media and Marketing Manager DJ Paradis. The staff team consists of award-winning music educators, professional singers and vocal percussionists, and some of the most successful a cappella directors in the world.
