Oakwood Community Center Programs & Events includes activities such as step aerobics, ballet classes, volleyball, tennis, spring and fall soccer, swim team, swimming, art classes, drama classes, dance classes, martial arts classes, fencing classes, walking, jogging, and an Indoor Cycling class. The program also offers youth soccer, youth basketball, adult basketball, adult volleyball, swimming lessons, and Junior High dances. Indoor Cycling class is held in the Teen Center twice a week.

• Schedule: Oakwood Community Center is open Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 Noon–5:00 p.m.
• Price: Membership in the community center allows residents to participate for reduced fees in activities, and Oakwood residents and members receive a rental discount to use the facility.
Gardner Pool is available from Memorial Day to Labor Day for resident members only. Residents sixteen and over with a health center membership may use fitness equipment in the Health Center, including Nautilus, Universal and free weight equipment, a stair climber, rowing machine and stationary bicycle. Walking and jogging route maps and safety guidelines are available at the community center. The Teen Center and the Health Center can be rented for birthday parties or meetings.
The Department of Leisure Services provides the Leisure Line phone number 297-2935 for weather-dependent program updates. Online registrations are accepted through OakwoodLeisureServices.com. Transfers or refunds are issued upon written request through the first day of the activity and prior to the second meeting, minus a $5 administrative fee. Memberships to the Oakwood Community Center, Health Center and Gardner Pool are not refundable or transferable, and a full refund is issued if an activity is cancelled by the OCC due to low enrollment. The Gardner Pool was a gift to Oakwood citizens, and the Natural Gas Aggregation Program is coordinated by the Miami Valley Communications Council across 18 local communities.
