The Way Station GLOW Youth Programs

The Way Station GLOW Youth Programs are part of a broader set of programs offered by The Way Station, which also includes Micro Business Launch Pad, Pathways to Independence, Transitioning To Triumph, Jobs READY-SET-GO, and Side by Side Workshops. The programs operate within an organization that also runs thrift stores whose shopping supports its overall mission, and that offers services such as a food pantry, monthly food distribution, job training, support groups, emergency assistance, diaper distribution, a community garden, and back to school and Christmas programs.

The Way Station has been serving individuals and families for more than 35 years. Its stated mission is to reflect the love of Jesus by serving as a community resource for families and individuals in need. The organization’s leadership includes Founder Jim Couchenour, Sr. and Board Member Vicki Couchenour Ritterspach. The Way Station’s role in the community includes operating a food pantry, monthly food distribution, job training, support groups, and emergency assistance.
