Kleptz YMCA Summer Day Camp is part of the Kleptz YMCA’s Summer Day Camp and youth programs. Campers are connected to activities that are also offered at the branch, such as swimming lessons, youth sports, aquatics programs, and parent/child programs. The broader YMCA setting includes access to group exercise classes, a full-size gymnasium, a 25-yard indoor swimming pool, a family play area, and an indoor family play land.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Branch hours include Monday 5:00am–12:00am, Tuesday–Friday 24 hours, Saturday 12:00am–6:00pm, and Sunday 1:00pm–5:00pm. Free Child Watch for ages 6 weeks to 11 years old is available Monday–Friday 8:30am–1:00pm and 4:00pm–8:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm.
The Kleptz YMCA leadership team includes an Executive Director, an Aquatics Director, a Senior Child Care Director, a Sports Director, and a Health and Wellness Director, among other roles. The mission statement for the YMCA is “Help us build a better us! Thousands of volunteers every year support the YMCA's mission.” The staff and members of the Kleptz YMCA recognize the Englewood Health Center and the City of Englewood as partners.
