Geary Family YMCA Youth Programs include child care, summer camps, wellness activities, youth sports, and aquatics. Wonderland childcare is part of these programs and operates on a regular weekday schedule. The programs take place at Geary Family YMCA facilities, which offer this range of activities for people of all ages.
• Schedule: Wonderland childcare is open year round, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
For over 100 years, the Y has been listening and responding to the community. The stated mission is to strengthen community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Geary Family YMCA is described as an inclusive organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment of nurturing the potential in kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. Every day, the Y works side-by-side with neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
No one is ever turned away from membership or programs because they cannot afford to participate. Contributions made to the Annual Campaign go directly to provide membership and program support and financial assistance to individuals, families and children in the community. The Y is a nonprofit with presence and partnerships in 10,000 neighborhoods across the nation.
