One alumni testimonial notes that a Hindu student at this Catholic school was encouraged by Father John to continue on their own journey of faith. Other college-aged alumni describe feeling academically prepared for college, citing strong analytical and writing skills and experiences such as Catalyst research, coding, exposure to engineering, and speech and debate. Alumni also mention Socratic-style classes, Kairos, Mass, Gilmour Academy’s culture and religious opportunities, Praxis, and service activities, as well as gaining leadership and communication skills and an interest in service and healthcare. A Lower School parent testimonial states that sending their son to Gilmour was the best thing they had done for him.
