About
Vacation Bible School features the VBS 2026 Rainforest Falls Adventure theme. The program includes activities such as games, snacks, surprising adventures, incredible music, time with horses, and Kona Ice, along with chances to meet new friends. VBS is described as “going wild this summer” and invites kids to “swing into the rainforest and discover fun, friends, and faith.”

The program is part of Germantown First Church of God, which is an affiliate of Church of God Anderson, IN. The church states that it believes a relationship with Jesus is not about pretending to have everything together or following a set of rules, but about learning to walk with Jesus and allowing Him to lead in everyday life, with a focus on helping people “find and follow Jesus.” Bev Cox directs Vacation Bible School and has served in kids ministry and directed VBS since 2021; she officially joined the staff in February 2024 and is retired from Brookville School after 32 years of teaching. The broader leadership team includes Senior Pastor Brandon Holbrook; Pastoral Care & Missions Pastor Ruby Harp; Director of Elementary Education and Family Event Coordinator Bev Cox; Beyond the Walls Outreach Director and assistant office administrator Becky Wetzel; and Office Administrator Paula North.
