The Light Foundation offers outdoor and hands-on learning opportunities for young people. The program focuses on providing unique experiences that ignite participants’ passion and purpose and emphasizes helping kids become R.E.A.L — Responsible, Ethical, Accountable Leaders.
In 2001, former NFL player and 3x Super Bowl Champion Matt Light and his wife Susie established The Light Foundation. The organization’s mission is to help young people develop the skills, values, and mindset they need to create a meaningful and productive future. The Light Foundation serves youth in New England, the Midwest, and beyond, welcoming participants from across the country and from a wide range of backgrounds and communities. Co-founders Matt Light and Susie Light lead the organization.
