Hudson City Schools provides education for approximately 4,700 children in grades PreK–12 and reports a 98% graduation rate. The district offers 24 AP courses and 29 Career Tech programs. The Hudson City Schools Treasurer's Office, led by CFO Phillip Butto, earned the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction for excellence in financial reporting. The Hudson City School District is ranked #18 out of 607 Ohio school districts based on the most recent Performance Index score on the Ohio Schools Report Card and has a 5 Stars Overall Rating on the Ohio State Report Card. In 2025, U.S. News & World Report ranked Hudson High School as the 11th best high school in Ohio. Ryan Morton has been selected as the new Director of Technology for Hudson City Schools, pending Board of Education approval. The district’s stated mission is that the Hudson school community will unite to empower students to achieve uncharted levels of success and to provide an educational program that maximizes the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of each child in a safe, nurturing, and diverse environment.
