Youth & Family Programs

Youth & Family Programs includes aquatic programs for youth, art programs for youth, and programs and events for youth and family connection throughout the year. Aquatic options include parent and child aquatic programs for ages 6 months to 3 years, preschool aquatic programs for ages 4 and 5, and Learn to Swim programs for children over 6 years through adults. Art programs for youth offer hands-on learning to build creative skills, and Rosewood Arts Center offers over 100 classes every year.

About the provider

Programs that meet the needs of the community's youth and offer opportunities throughout the year for families to connect and enjoy quality time together. Kettering PRCA and Centerville-Washington Park District are collaborating to bring the joy of birdwatching to youth as the Southwest Chapter of the Young Birders Club of Ohio.

Participants in the Young Birders Club must become members of the Ohio Young Birders Club and be between the ages of 12-18. For Learn to Swim levels, participants must receive a certificate of completion or approval from the Aquatics Instruction Coordinator before moving to the next level.
