The mission of We Rock the Spectrum – Columbus Gym Programs is stated as a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment to foster learning, exploration and safe sensory experiences. Through the nonprofit My Brother Rocks The Spectrum Foundation, the program provides social skills groups and activities for children across the spectrum. The leadership team includes Courtney Lewis-Utrata as Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Utrata as Chief Operations Officer, Lorrie DeLoach as Financial Manager, and Lindsey Salazar as Program Director.

Parent and caregiver feedback describes birthday parties at the gym as including a party room for food and cake, with children of many ages using different things to play with or on, and notes that the space is clean and well kept. Testimonials also describe experiences as positive for families with a child with special needs and mention that children were able to be physically active on a winter day. The gym is described as “the gym for all kids,” with the tagline “FINALLY A PLACE WHERE YOU NEVER HAVE TO SAY I'M SORRY,” and as a Columbus-area indoor playground that is a safe space for children with disabilities. It is described as the first open-play concept gym in Ohio for those on the autism spectrum and the first facility in Lewis Center that provides a safe space to play for people with autism or special needs, and it is noted as having an adult-sized changing table mentioned in relation to breaking down an invisible barrier for caregivers of teens and adults living with disabilities.
