Camp Akita

Camp Akita offers Summer Camp, a co-ed, residential camp experience, along with Family Camp and 1, 2, 3...Akita! It also offers L.I.F.E. Guard, where campers serve meals, clean camp, set up activities, and do work projects while living in a family-style community behind the scenes. The program also offers group programs with outdoor education, team building, and other experiential programs for school groups, home school, corporate groups, sports teams, and scouts.

Programs

• Summer Camp — 1st through 12th grades · Co-ed, residential camp experience. Includes Family Camp and 1, 2, 3...Akita!
• L.I.F.E. Guard — grades 10–12 & grads · Service leadership program where campers serve meals, clean camp, set up activities, and do work projects while living in a family-style community behind the scenes.
• Family Camp — ALL ages · Weekend family experience with family time, off-the-wall fun, and the stillness of a spiritual retreat.
• Group Programs — Outdoor education, team building, and other experiential programs for school groups, home school, corporate groups, sports teams, and scouts.

Camp Akita is a ministry of First Community in Columbus, Ohio, and its mission is to be a place of fun and reflection where all who enter are encouraged to strengthen their relationship with God, self, others, and nature.
