Counselor in Training (CIT) Program

The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program includes 2 training sessions and at least two full weeks of camp in 2026. New CITs are required to attend Workshop B, and Workshop B includes a water bottle, a change of clothes, and lunch provided. The 2026 season accepts only 30 CITs, and camp shifts are first come, first served.

For 2026, applicants should be at least 13 by June 1, 2026, and should not have graduated from high school before 2026. The selection process includes a volunteer application, two non-related references, and an interview. Application and references are due by February 28, and CIT interviews run from March 10 to March 12, 2026. Camps run from June 8 to August 7, 2026, Monday through Friday, with start times no earlier than 8:15 a.m. and end times no later than 3 p.m.
