Towpath Trail YMCA Youth Programs

Towpath Trail YMCA Youth Programs include access to a fitness center with cardio and strength equipment, a basketball gymnasium with two courts, and a swimming pool. The program also offers aerobics and group exercise, drop-in Child Watch while caregivers use the fitness facilities, preschool in half-day and daycare formats, and school age child care before and after school, on school days off, and as a summer day camp.

• Schedule: Branch hours Monday–Thursday 6am–9pm, Friday 6am–7pm, Saturday 7am–3pm, and Sunday 12 noon–3pm; Child Watch hours Monday–Thursday 8:45am–noon and 5:00pm–7:30pm, Friday 8:45am–noon, and Saturday 8:45am–noon

For nearly 160 years, the YMCA has been listening and responding to its communities. Its stated mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. The YMCA of Western Stark County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The organization states that it works side-by-side with neighbors so that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Unique features for members include 24/7 access to the Towpath Trail YMCA fitness center for eligible Western Stark members, one membership covering both the Massillon Family YMCA and Towpath Trail YMCA, an all of Stark County upgrade option, and nationwide YMCA usage.
