YMCA School Age Child Care at New Bremen Learning Center includes homework help, art projects, and active group games. The program uses the Kidzlit, Kidzmath, and Cincy Afterschool curriculum. A healthy afternoon snack is provided during program time.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with care available from 6:30am until school starts and from school dismissal until 6:00pm
• Price: Registration fee: Individual Child - $40; Family Max - $50; Before & After Care rate: $92 per week for members, $102 per week for non-members; Calamity Care: $21 per day for members, $25 per day for non-members; Days Out of School: $45 per day for members, $50 per day for non-members; Break Week Rate: $200 per day for members, $225 per day for non-members

Programs available include Before & After Care, with full-time rate options for 4–5 days per week, depending on availability. Part-time care through a daily rate is offered, with registration required at least 30 days in advance, and the program is not drop-in. All-day care is available when school is not scheduled, during holidays, and weather emergencies, and YMCA Child Care services are available for an additional fee on calamity days, Professional Development Days, and Break Weeks.

The program has a fenced-in play area. YMCA Early Learning Center care is also available at this site. Early release days are included at no charge for parents enrolled in the PM Flat Rate After Care option; otherwise, add-on fees are charged. School delays up to 2 hours are a courtesy for families already enrolled in AM Flat Rate morning care or the AM/PM Flat Rate before and after care option; otherwise, add-on fees are charged. This site does not provide transportation.

Rate plans are selected upon registration and can be changed once per semester, with semesters running January through May and August through December. Rate options include full-time care for 4–5 days per week, depending on location availability. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Discounts for YMCA Child Care may be available for Military and Veterans, active police officers, active firefighters, active EMTs, and current certified teachers from partnering school districts.

The YMCA accepts publicly funded child care through the State of Ohio. The Ohio Department of Children and Youth (Ohio DCY) covers the registration fee for families receiving publicly funded childcare (PFCC). The Ohio Department of Children and Youth helps parents who are working or in school pay for child care through the Publicly Funded Child Care (PFCC) program.

The YMCA closes for Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and Memorial Day. The YMCA also closes for two professional development days: the first Friday in November and the last Friday in February. The YMCA is an equal opportunity provider.
