Beyond Words: Music, Art & Dance Center offers Music Therapy, Adapted Music Lessons in piano, voice, guitar, and ukulele, Traditional Private Lessons in voice, guitar, ukulele, and piano, Do Re Read Mi a Story: Parent/Child Music Class, Music in Color Classes, Art Therapy, Adapted Art Lessons, and Art Therapy Classes. Do Re Read Mi a Story is a developmental music and movement class. Music in Color Classes use colors on instruments and in music notation, and they are listed for ages 5-7, 8-11, and 12-16.

Programs

• Music Therapy — Uses music as the therapeutic stimulus to achieve non-musical treatment goals.
• Adapted Music Lessons — Adapted music lessons are offered in piano, voice, guitar and ukulele.
• Traditional Private Lessons — 30-minute, weekly · Individual lessons in voice, guitar, ukulele and piano at the North Royalton studios.
• Do Re Read Mi a Story: Parent/Child Music Class — ages 1-5 · Developmental music and movement class.
• Music in Color Classes — ages 5-7, 8-11 & 12-16 · Structured musical ensembles using colors on instruments and in music notation.
• Art Therapy — Therapeutic use of the creative process in art making to improve and enhance well-being.
• Adapted Art Lessons — Creative process made accessible, enjoyable and meaningful for individuals of all abilities.
• Art Therapy Classes — ages 7-11, 8-11 & 15+

Beyond Words is a team of music therapists, art therapists, and adapted dance instructors. Its mission is to create accessible and innovative programming through the arts to enrich the lives of those they serve.

Speech and Occupational Therapy available at the North Royalton location through Sprout Therapy, LLC. Music in Color Classes are appropriate for children who are neurodiverse, disabled and neurotypical. Do Re Read Mi a Story is inclusive to neurodiverse, disabled and neurotypical children.
