Camp Nuhop

Camp Nuhop offers Summer Camp, Traditional Camp, Specialty Camps, Trip Camps, Nuhop Jr. Camp, Science Camp, Art Camp, Leadership Camp, Aqua Camp, Caves & Climbing Camp, Animal Encounters, and Lake Erie Islands Camp. Nuhop Jr. Camp includes a half-day hike, swimming, canoeing, and an overnight under the stars. Traditional and Specialty Camps are on-campus based programs, and Trip Camps are off-campus based programs.

• General schedule: Traditional and Specialty Camps are on-campus based programs. Trip Camps are off-campus based programs. Six residential sessions are offered. Participants are organized into groups of eight.

About the provider

Camp Nuhop says its mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, dynamic learning environment where people are empowered to succeed. Campers are placed with empathetic staff members trained to foster self-awareness and social skills, and groups are organized into squads of eight with three or more summer staff members, considering age, interests, and compatibility.

Inclusive summer camp for children with and without diagnoses, including ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities, mood disorders, neuroatypical children, and neurotypical peers. Physical and emotional safety is the highest priority.
