Royal Child Academy Summer Camp

Royal Child Academy Summer Camp takes place at a preschool and childcare center that includes a natural playground with a merry-go-round play structure, a toy train, and outdoor musical equipment. The playground surface uses mulch, and the playground area is surrounded by tall privacy fences with no visibility from the street. The facility uses restricted access and security cameras to monitor the space, and UV lighting is used in classrooms for disinfection.

Lead teachers at Royal Child Academy Summer Camp have either a degree or a Child Development Associate (CDA), have over 2 years of experience, and complete over 30 hours of training each year. The program operates in a nut-free and peanut-free environment, and meals and snacks are provided as outlined by the CACFP. The program uses individualized learning plans and goals, with parent-teacher check-ins every 4 months and a particular focus on early literacy. The center has a 5-Star rating by the state of Ohio for early education excellence. UV lighting in classrooms is stated to safely eliminate up to 99% of allergens, viruses, bacteria, and mold. The program describes its mission as offering a supportive and loving home-away-from-home where children are safe, supported, and cared for.
