Hands on History includes activities such as an Underground Railroad Trolley Tour, a Tour of Freedom Hall, History Detectives, Victorian Manners and Morals, a classroom experience with McGuffy Readers and quill pens, a visit to a print shop, watching Civil War reenactors in period dress, and viewing and touching Civil War artifacts. The program offers three days of Hands on History, with individual sessions that are either 2 hours (10am to noon) or 4 hours (10am to 2pm).

• Ages: 9–12 years old
• Schedule: Three separate days with individual sessions of 2 or 4 hours
• Price: June 13 session: Cost is $15 per person. July 11 session: Cost is $10 per child. August 5 session: Cost is $10 per child.

Parents are invited to join their children on the Underground Railroad Trolley Tour and Tour of Freedom Hall. Lunch is included for the July 11 session. The Underground Railroad Trolley Tour has been accepted into the National Park Service Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Program.
