Heritage Early Learning Center is part of Heritage Christian Childcare, LLC, HCCC, Heritage Early Learning Center. The program blends giggles, love, and faith with Step Up to Quality Star-Rated programs and a commitment to high-quality care, and is described as a joyful place where learning and laughter grow together. It combines high-quality early learning focused on social, emotional, and academic growth with on-site mental health and family support provided through trauma-informed care specialists from The Village Network (TVN).
At Heritage Early Learning Center, the stated mission is to blend giggles, love, and faith with Step Up to Quality Star-Rated programs and a commitment to high-quality care, and to be a joyful place where learning and laughter grow together. The program holds Step Up to Quality Star-Rated credentials. Heritage Early Learning Center is part of an exclusive, innovative collaboration with The Village Network that integrates trauma-informed behavioral health services directly into an early childhood education setting, and this approach is one of only two in the state of Ohio. The program is described as a pioneer in holistic, trauma-responsive early education and a model for how schools and behavioral health organizations can work together to nurture both the mind and heart of every child.
Heritage Early Learning Center partners with The Village Network, a leader in trauma-informed care and youth empowerment, to support the emotional well-being and healthy development of children and families in their community. Through this collaboration, the program connects with TVN’s network of behavioral health professionals so that staff and families can access specialized mental health resources, family counseling, and early intervention services, with support available for children both inside and outside the classroom.
