Camp Miakonda includes Miakonda Day Camp and the Camp Miakonda Orienteering Trail as specific program activities. The program takes place at a resident-type facility that offers cabins, Adirondack sites, tent camping areas, and multiple on-site program features such as a pool, a lake, and a marked historical trail. Participants also have access to areas like Fort Scheib, a chapel, a dining hall with food service, a Trading Post, and a Historical Museum as part of the camp setting.

Leadership roles connected with Camp Miakonda include Adrea Horak as Camp & Program Assistant, Chuck Walker as Director of Support Services, and Michael Walz as Camp Miakonda Ranger. The Erie Shores Council provides Scouting programs to youth in Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Wood, and eastern Fulton Counties in Northwest Ohio. A cabin, facility, or campsite at Camp Miakonda is not considered reserved until payment is made. Camp Miakonda is open for Scouting’s outdoor adventures.
