Summer Day Camp at Lake Community YMCA

Summer Day Camp at Lake Community YMCA runs as a full-day summer program. Weekly rates include all field trips, swimming, guest speakers, camp materials, and more. Camp groups are organized as Explorers, Trailblazers, and Rangers based on the grade each child is entering.

Explorers are children entering grades 1 and 2, Trailblazers are campers entering grades 3–5, and Rangers are campers entering grades 6–8. The program operates under Program License #106570. The Child Care Director for this program is Crystal Collins. The mission statement for Summer Day Camp at Lake Community YMCA states that the program focuses on getting kids disconnected from technology and reconnected with laughter, fun, and being outdoors as the group builds community together. The YMCA of Central Stark County, which runs this program, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
