About the provider
JGMMA says it has trained people for 25 years. Its mission is to provide training and instruction to people of all ages, fitness, and skill levels, with a goal of changing as many lives as possible. The leadership team includes Professor Jorge Gurgel, Professor D'Andre, Coach Chris Hale "Smoke," Sensei Markus West, Sensei Kameron Williams, Coach Zane McMullin, Coach Rich Walden, Coach Nate, Coach Anna, Coach Lindsay, Coach Gary M., Coach Joe Duffy, and Coach Stan Owens. Jorge Gurgel earned a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Marcus Aurélio, starred in the second season of The Ultimate Fighter, and had his UFC 73 match against Diego Saraiva named Fight of the Night by the UFC.
