Summer Science Camps is offered by the Adams Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD). The Adams Soil and Water Conservation District has been serving Adams County, Ohio since 1944. Its mission is to provide leadership and services that enable the District to conserve, protect, and enhance natural resources. The leadership team connected to the District includes Jack Hazelbaker, Supervisor with Adams Soil & Water Conservation District, and Brian Baldridge, Director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Jack Hazelbaker was honored at the Annual Meeting on August 11 and was presented with a certificate by Brian Baldridge for his service and commitment to conservation to Adams County and the State. The organization frequently conducts field visits or education programs and advises calling before visiting the office to confirm availability.
