Camp Jabez offers interaction with horses, horsemanship, outdoor activities, recreation, and fishing. The program uses gentle horses to communicate love and leadership and includes challenge and initiative courses. Camp Jabez also offers relevant Bible teaching as part of its activities.
Camp Jabez is a Gospel based, Christ-centered ministry of The Dayton Gospel Mission. Its mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and their families through interaction with horses, the beauty of God’s creation, outdoor activities, and recreation by a staff of dedicated workers, missionaries, and volunteers. The stated mission is to bring eternal hope and change to the lives of children, youth, and families through the use of horses and outdoor recreation in a loving, safe atmosphere. The leadership team includes Director Ken Clarkston and the CEO of Gospel Mission, Inc.
