About the provider
Pride Mixed Martial Arts has classes in Edmond and has served Edmond since 1996. The leadership team is Jason Epps and Jessi Cargill. The academy says it is dedicated to changing lives one person at a time through martial arts, education and coaching, and says it aims to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. It also says it believes martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. The enrichment classes are held weekly at participating child care centers, homeschool groups, private programs, and after-school facilities, and the academy says it provides martial arts classes to Edmond, Oklahoma City, Jones, and Piedmont communities.
The preschool page says there are not many rules, but they are very rigorously enforced. It says the program uses martial arts as a tool to help kids become leaders. The pages also say martial arts classes are an individual sport done in a group environment, and that the academy does not require parents to stay during classes.
