Oklahoma Spirit Academy

Oklahoma Spirit Academy offers tumbling classes, cheer training classes, preschool programs, Flight School, All-Star Cheer, All-Star Competitive Teams, and All-Star Cheer Prep. Tumbling classes include Little Troopers, Little Elite Troopers, Mommy & Me, Basic Training, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced 3, Elite 4, and Elite 5. Cheer training classes include Jump/Motion Technique and Cheer Fundamentals.

Programs

• Tumbling Classes — No Requirement; Little Troopers; Little Elite Troopers; Mommy & Me: 12 months-3 years; Basic Training; Novice; Intermediate; Advanced 3; Elite 4; Elite 5 · Recreational tumbling classes include a progression system; all skill classes are 1 hour. Pre-school program is for 3 to 5 years old with 6:1 ratio.
• Cheer Training Classes — No Requirement · Includes Jump/Motion Technique and Cheer Fundamentals.
• Pre School Programs — 12 months-3 years; 3 to 5 years old · Includes Little Troopers, Little Elite Troopers, and Mommy & Me.
• Flight School — Athletes must be evaluated by a coach before enrolled · Includes Beginner Flight School, Intermediate Flight School, and Advanced Flight.

At a glance

• Ages: 0–18 years old
• General schedule: All skill classes are 1 hour. Tumbling classes operate on an 8:1 athlete to coach ratio. The pre-school program uses a 6:1 athlete to coach ratio. Camps and clinics are 2 full hours.

About the provider

The leadership team includes Deonne King, who is the Class/All-Star Program Director. The mission is to instill S-P-I-R-I-T: Strength, Perseverance, Integrity, Resilience, Independence, and Trust. The gym describes itself as community based and says its primary purpose is serving the community. It is the only cheerleading gym in Oklahoma to offer a military discount.

• Open Gym — Athletes can utilize the gym and equipment under limited supervision; no structured curriculum.
• Facility Rental — Gym is rented to school teams, birthday parties, and clinics.
• School Teams — Facility rental for school teams looking for a location to practice.
• Birthday Parties — Birthday party rentals are offered.
• Skills Clinics/Camps — Includes Back Walkover Clinic, Back Handspring Clinic, Back Tuck Clinic, Layout/Full Clinic, and Cheer Clinics.
