About the provider
The Advanced Science and Technology Education Charter (ASTEC) Schools became Oklahoma's first start-up charter school in 2000. It is a fully accredited public charter school through the Oklahoma State Department of Education and was named 2026 Charter School of the Year by Education Insider Magazine. It is proudly sponsored by Oklahoma City Community College.
Free public school open to all. Serves PreK - 12th grade students located in Oklahoma City. Combines science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (S.T.E.A.M.) in a standard, state-approved curriculum.
