Canterbury Youth Voices is a curricular and performance-based youth choral program. It includes enhanced musical literacy, music training, and performance opportunities for children and youth in grades 2-12.
Programs
- Canterbury Youth Voices — Grades 2-12; children and youth · Tuesday evenings; weekly · Curricular and performance-based youth choral program with artistic excellence, enhanced musical literacy, music training, and performance opportunities.
- Camp Canterbury — Entering grades 2 through 8 in the Fall of 2027; all registered students who love singing and making music; unchanged voices · Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; week-long · Music day camp offering choir plus classes including folk dancing, ukulele, drumming, music theatre, and more.

About the provider
Canterbury says it is in its 29th year. In 1997, Canterbury took the reins of the Children’s Choral Society of Oklahoma and grew into a four-choir, 200-voice educational program. Dr. Karsten Longhurst was announced as the next Artistic Director on May 31, 2024. Canterbury has been selected six times as an Oklahoma Music Educators Honor Choir and once as a select choir for the Southwestern American Choral Directors Association.
Auditions are now closed for the 2026-27 Season. Camp Canterbury is for all registered students who love singing and making music, have unchanged voices.
