About

Weatherford Soccer Club offers recreational soccer for ages 2-18, Academy soccer for U7-U10, competitive soccer for U12-U19, futsal for U4-U19 and adults, private training lessons, and TopSoccer for individuals with special needs of all ages. The Academy program has U8 Monday nights and U10 Tuesday nights, and season registration is $65 per player for the recreational program.

Programs

  • Recreational (U4-U18) — Ages 2-18 · $65 · Provides an organized, well structured, positive, and enjoyable experience for girls and boys.
  • Academy (U7-U10) — U7-U10 · Monday nights for U8; Tuesday nights for U10 · $0 · Designed to develop young players and provide a basic foundation level; players can move around according to player and team needs.
  • Competitive (U12-U19) — U12-U19 · Provides youth competitive players the opportunity to improve technical ability, tactical knowledge, physical capabilities, and psychological awareness.
  • Futsal (U4-U19) + Adult League — U4-U19 + adults · Small-sided soccer format officially recognized by the U.S. Soccer Federation and FIFA.
  • TopSoccer — Individuals with special needs of all ages · Inclusive opportunity for individuals with special needs to learn, grow, have fun, and experience the game of soccer with adapted practices and activities.

About the provider

Weatherford Soccer Club’s purpose is to promote, govern, coordinate, and administer the growth and development of soccer in western Oklahoma and Oklahoma soccer for all persons of all ages and abilities. The leadership team includes President Skylar Rigsby, Vice President Randa Castleberry, Treasurer Justin McKeown, Secretary Julie Bradley, Registrar Jenna Lockstone, and Referee Director Amanda Currier. The club hosts bi-annual meetings for all voting members and asks people to participate in board meetings to help community soccer programs grow.

  • Private Training Lessons — Private soccer training providers are being built and requests are being taken.

WSC is a fun, safe, and learning environment. If you do not hear from your coach, contact the club. For Academy, all home games are played in Weatherford, away games are based on bracket teams, practices are at the coach's discretion, most teams train 2-3 times per week, and most games are played on Saturday and/or Sunday. TOPSoccer practices and activities are adapted with the players' unique needs in mind.
