Haven's Urban Movement Summer Camps

Haven's Urban Movement Summer Camps offers Hip Hop Camp, Alice In Wonderland Dance Camp, Urban Movement Dance Camp, ACRO & TUMBLING Camp, K-POP Demon Hunters Dance Camp, and Urban Movement Intensive. The camps include hip hop foundations, grooves, choreography, footwork, muscle control, themed crafts, jazz, musical theater, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, acro, tumbling, flexibility training, and across-the-floor technique.

• Hip Hop Camp — 7+ · Jul 7-9, 2026, 9:00 am-noon · $120 · 3-day camp focusing on hip hop foundations, grooves, choreography, footwork, muscle control and all things hip hop dance.
• Alice In Wonderland Dance Camp — 4-11 · Jul 14-16, 2026, 9:00 am-noon · $120 · Dancers participate in themed crafts and learn choreography in jazz, musical theater, lyrical and hip hop.
• Urban Movement Dance Camp — 5-12 · Jul 21-23, 2026, 9:00 am-noon · $140 · 3-day camp for beginner to intermediate dancers; includes basics to dance, across-the-floor technique, flexibility training and choreography in jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop.
• ACRO & TUMBLING Camp — 7+ · Jul 28-30, 2026, 9:00 am-noon · $120 · 3-day acro and tumbling camp for dancers just getting started or wanting to enhance their skills further.
• K-POP Demon Hunters Dance Camp — 3-11 · Aug 4-6, 2026, 9:00 am-noon · $120 · 3-day camp with choreography in hip hop, jazz and lyrical, plus themed crafts.

About the provider

Urban Movement was established in July of 2018. The owner and director is Haven Barrett. The studio’s motto is to work hard and stay HUMble. It received the 2024 KRKT listeners Choice Award, the 2023 Best Dance School in Albany award, and the 2022 Regional Grand Champion Studio award from West Coast Elite.

Classes are based on age, but most importantly ability. Instructors determine class placement. If classes do not meet minimum enrollment, they will be cancelled or combined with another class. Tuition is monthly and due between the 1st and 5th of every month. A late fee is applied after the 10th. Summer punch cards expire the last week of summer classes and unused classes do not rollover into fall session. Some classes require instructor approval.
