Knappa Kids Athletics offers T-ball for boys and girls who will be 4 prior to May 1st, Homer Boys (8U baseball) for players who have played at least 1 year of t-ball, and baseball and softball programs. It also offers the KKA Lower Columbia Cal Ripken League, with recommended ages 8-12 and an evaluation for players ages 8-12 to determine placement. Girls-only teams are offered at 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U levels.

About the provider
Knappa Kids Athletics is a non-profit volunteer organization open to interested families in the Knappa-Svensen-Burnside-Brownsmead area. Its mission is to provide community youth supervised recreational opportunities. Members are encouraged to attend KKA board meetings and to volunteer for coaching, umpiring, and fund-raising activities.
Players 8-12 attend an evaluation, and their skill level determines placement. Parents should read, understand and sign the Sport Parent Code of Conduct prior to their children participating in the league. A non-volunteer fee does not exclude parents from working the snack shack as assigned by coaching staff. Parent/guardian will sign a photo consent for the use of photos on KKA social media platform.
