French Hill Farm Riding Academy Summer Camps

French Hill Farm Riding Academy Summer Camps offers summer riding camp, beginner camp, intermediate camp, Jumping/Show, and IEA Clinic for campers ages 7-14, along with two-day Kindercamps for ages 5-6. Summer riding camp is for campers who want to learn to ride or improve riding skills, beginner camp is for campers with no experience or limited experience, and intermediate camp is for campers who can walk, trot, and canter and are ready to learn how to jump. Kindercamps are held on the lead line.

• Summer riding camp — 7-14 · $500 per week · Designed for campers who wish to learn how to ride or improve riding skills.
• Kindercamps — 5-6 · $175 · Two-day Kindercamps for 5 and 6-year-olds on the lead line.
• Beginner camp — 7-14 · $500 per week · Campers with no experience or limited experience are appropriate.
• Intermediate camp — 7-14 · $500 per week · For campers who can walk, trot and canter and are ready to learn how to jump.
• Adult Horsemanship — 19 · $500 · For any adult wanting to improve horsemanship and groundwork skills.
• Jumping/Show — 7-14 · For French Hill students only. Show fees will be in addition to camp cost.
• IEA Clinic — 7-14 · $500 · For new and returning IEA riders.

About the provider

The program opened its doors in 1997, and camps have been running since 1998. Its goal is to teach students how to ride, handle, and groom horses safely and to the best of their ability, and the goal of the summer camps is to teach the basics of riding and taking care of horses in a safe and fun environment.

Tours by appointment only. Pick up for day camp is no later than 3pm; for Kindercamps no later than 12. No make-ups or refunds for missed camp days. Evaluation lesson required for advanced beginner, intermediate and advanced riders who are not current students. Application and deposit must be received together for sign-up. Deposit is non-refundable after June 1st. Balance of tuition is due June 1st for all camps. Reservations are not accepted over the phone.
